The crisp brand, Vicente Vidal (Grupo Apex), celebrates its 90th anniversary

In celebration and recognition, it launches an audiovisual piece that shares a brief journey through the history and milestones of the brand, as well as giving a preview of the launch of a packet that pays homage to its origins.

Ribaforada, 15th December 2021 – Tradition, quality and proximity are three of the characteristics that best describe the Vicente Vidal brand.

The crisp brand, which currently forms part of Grupo Apex, was founded in 1931, in Benifayó, Valencia. It has since been recognised for its careful traditional craft, quality guarantee and know-how. It has experienced constant, successful growth, becoming the most important brand in the East of Spain, and one of the leading crisp companies in the national sector.

In addition to its national recognition, today, Vicente Vidal crisps can also be found in countries such as China, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Uruguay, Mexico, Equatorial Guinea and Morocco, among others.

In celebration of this 90th anniversary, the brand has launched an audiovisual piece that shares part of the history and milestones of the brand, told by way of testimonies from the professionals themselves, as well as some of the members of the Vidal family.

In addition, to celebrate its 90th anniversary, the brand announces the launch of a new packet that pays homage to the origins of Vidal; going back to the traditional recipe from 1931, and using characteristic packaging that features the same yellow background as it did originally, as well as the silhouette of Vicente Vidal on the front. This version will also include a prominent representation of the area where these crisps are produced, as a seal of proximity guarantee.
